Group Therapy Sessions The Anxious Self & the Unhealthy Relationship Patterns

Many women experience recurring difficulties in dating or relationships. You might notice that you doubt yourself quickly, feel anxious when getting close to someone, or find yourself repeating the same patterns - even when you genuinely want things to go differently.
These experiences are often not just “bad luck” or a lack of effort. They are usually connected to deeper psychological patterns, such as self-esteem and self-love, attachment, and the way you perceive yourself when relating to others (core self-schemas).
This group offers a structured and supportive therapeutic setting where we work on understanding and changing these patterns.

For who

This group is intended for people who experience psychological difficulties such as:-Low self-esteem or a persistent sense of not being “good enough”-Fear of rejection, abandonment, or intimacy-Anxiety, overthinking, or avoidance in dating or relationships-Difficulty trusting others or expressing needs and boundaries-Repeating unhelpful or painful relationship patterns
Together, we explore how these patterns affect your thoughts, emotions, and behaviour in the present - and what you could work on to create a healthier approach in dating.

How the Group Sessions work

The group is a form of psychological treatment. This means we don’t only talk about experiences, but actively work toward change.
During the sessions, we will:-Explore your personal patterns in a structured way-Identify underlying beliefs about yourself and others-Work with emotions that arise in relationships-Practice new ways of thinking, feeling, and responding-Use the group itself as a safe space to experience and try out new ways of relating

Meet your Host

I'm Dimitra and I am a licensed psychologist and the founder of "Share that Thought" Therapy. Currently, I am authoring a research paper on self-love and codependency as a guest researcher at Leiden University.
In my clinical work, I have repeatedly seen how patterns such as self-doubt, fear of rejection, and difficulties with trust or emotional closeness can have a significant impact on people’s well-being and their ability to form fulfilling relationships.Over time, I noticed that many of these challenges are not only individual, but also emerge clearly in interaction with others. This insight led me to develop this group, where these patterns can be explored and addressed in a structured and supportive interpersonal setting. Group therapy offers a unique opportunity to both understand and actively work on these difficulties in real time.
